QLC™ is our Quartz-Like Ceramic low-friction thin film coating for robotic tooling and metal shaping operations. There are many applications for the QLC™coating on your machines, including: sockets, roller balls, bearings, sleeves, collets, and many more. Anywhere there is friction and wear, your machine can benefit from this revolutionary treatment.

This coating is only .00005 think, so that means it will not affect part clearance tolerances.

QLC™ - What is it?

-is extremely slick and gets slicker as you apply pressure

-is much slicker than Moly

-is itself a lubricant that bonds in a thin layer .5 to 1 micron with the surface by chemically interacting on a molecular level with the substrate.


Our processes and materials are cutting-edge and have been proven in the most extreme environments. We embed our proprietary materials into your part. This changes the materials surface structure and creates a permanent low friction surface on your part. It will never flake, chip or delaminate since it is permenantly bonded, thereby making it an entirely new surface.

We use a proprietary technology called “Force Altered” under license from Force Altered Technologies, Inc. The same technology being provided to the aerospace and military industries.

We also use proprietary blends of Rare Earth materials to obtain our fantastic extreme pressure durable low friction coatings.
